Chloe Blake, Print Editor

My name is Chloe and I am the Blackman Voice’s Print Editor. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, and taking photos. One interesting fact about me is that I have a blog! I joined the Blackman Voice because I thought it would stimulate my writing skills and give me an outlet to share my thoughts and opinions to our school! I love capturing moments and sharing my voice!

Day Two:
Thankfully, we were some of the only people who actually walked the entire bridge, so I captured this picture later on.

A trip to New York City!

Day Two:
After the museum, we went back to Little Italy to see it at night. We decided to stop by this little cafe. Here's a picture of my parents from an outside perspective.

Day Two:
Later this day, we went to the Brooklyn Museum. This exhibit was one of the first things to pop up on their website, and it intrigued me. The artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat, was born in Brooklyn, and this piece is one of the only things left linking him to the town. This piece was bought by Yusaku Maezawa, whom enjoyed the piece so much that he decided he wanted to share the beauty of this piece with more people.

Day Two:
After walking the bridge, we walked to a cat cafe. I too pictures on the way there. This picture doesn't even remotely express how incredibly gigantic and beautiful the architecture of this building was.

We decided on this day that we wanted to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. One of the first things I saw when I reached the bridge was this sign. Yes love. No locks.

At this moment I was standing up on the edge of the bridge above the cars. My mo stood beside me taking pictures, and my dad stood below watching us in fear.

At this point, my mom's hands were so frozen from taking pictures of me that I had to take off my gloves and give them to her.
