Chloe Blake, Print Editor

My name is Chloe and I am the Blackman Voice’s Print Editor. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, and taking photos. One interesting fact about me is that I have a blog! I joined the Blackman Voice because I thought it would stimulate my writing skills and give me an outlet to share my thoughts and opinions to our school! I love capturing moments and sharing my voice!

Day Two:
Thankfully, we were some of the only people who actually walked the entire bridge, so I captured this picture later on.

Day Two:
Later this day, we went to the Brooklyn Museum. This exhibit was one of the first things to pop up on their website, and it intrigued me. The artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat, was born in Brooklyn, and this piece is one of the only things left linking him to the town. This piece was bought by Yusaku Maezawa, whom enjoyed the piece so much that he decided he wanted to share the beauty of this piece with more people.

Day Two:
This was quite possibly the cutest moment I have ever seen. This little boy was playing an instrument he had made out of a paper towel roll. Open at his feets a box filled with toys. His father stood back watching him with a smile.

Pro-tip: Dont stick your hand in between subway doors. Theyre not the same as elevator doors. They wont open back up. They will only crush your fingers. Speaking from experience.
