Brian Pendegraft is an Algebra II teacher who started his first official year of teaching here at Blackman High School.

Pendegraft was not planning to become a teacher.  He initially attended Western Governor’s School University to pursue a computer engineering degree. After a few summer internships, he noticed that he was not enjoying it.

“I don’t know what exactly called me. I just felt like this [teaching] was what I wanted to do,” said Pendegraft.

In his free time, Pendegraft enjoys fishing, playing with his two sons and watching sports.
