On Sunday, September 24th the Blackman Lady Blaze Bowling team went to Tullahoma, Tennessee to participate in the Tullahoma wildcat clash. The result is that the Lady Blaze ended up winning the tournament championship.
Sara Sanes placed first place overall for the series, and Baileigh Snow placed second.
“After warming up for a little bit everybody did pretty good, we had a really good match,” stated sophomore Baileigh Snow.
Baileigh Snow is a sophomore who has been on the team since freshman year.
“There were four teams competing. Walker Valley, Lebanon, Soddy-Daisy, and the Lady Blaze. The Lady Blaze finished the team event in second place, therefore they had to take on Lebanon High school while Walker Valley went against Soddy-Daisy,” stated Coach Giacobbi.
In this particular tournament, Val Damico, sophomore, shot the highest game she’s ever played.
The Blaze defeated Lebanon and Walker Valley defeated Soddy-Daisy, leaving the two teams to go head-to-head with the Lady Blaze taking the win.

Check out the bowling team this season! The boys play at Smyrna Lanes on October 17th, and both teams play at LTA on October 19th.
