Senior Informational Day Prepares Students For Important Senior Events

On Thursday, February 2nd, Blackman’s first Senior Informational Day occurred. Seniors were placed in groups by last name and rotated to four different sessions.

The four stations included BHS Hiring Day information, Job Shadow Day information, Prom and Graduation information, and group games.

In the auditorium, Mrs. DeGeorge and DECA students presented more information about Blackman’s first Job Hiring Day that will take place in April.

While learning about the upcoming Job Shadow Day in the cafeteria, seniors also took a survey about their senior t-shirt

In the auxiliary gym, the Prom and Graduation session divulged more details to students about these events.

In the gym, students were broken into groups, where each group played a different game and then rotated to the next.

There were also concessions sold, such as soda and candy; the proceeds will help pay for prom.

The goal of the day was to provide useful and important information to seniors in an easy and accessible way.

“The day was packed full of pertinent senior information. It made me more excited for prom and graduation!” said Samantha Udell, senior.
