Preparation For a New Year: Registration Information

All rising grade levels should remember registration for the 2017-2018 school year.

“The registration process is going to be the same as it was last year. We will begin meeting with rising seniors first. Registration will be complete by spring break, and no schedule changes will be allowed after that point,” said counselor Stephanie VanWinkle.

From January 30th through February 26th, INow registration will be open online, so students can apply for next year’s classes.

“I want my college application to look good, so I usually take higher level classes. [And] it depends on the teacher and whatever else my friends are taking,” said sophomore Jill Berosh.

Students will have individual meetings with counselors during their English classes starting on January 30th, so come prepared with any questions that you may have.

“I choose advanced classes because I believe I could learn better from those classes,” stated junior Ayano Omote.

The student should receive their registration form from their meeting with their counselor.

If students do not have internet access at home, they can register during Prime Time in the library. Students that know they will need to visit the library for registration will need to obtain a Prime Time pass from the library before 8:30 a.m. on the day they plan to register.

On March 6th verification forms will be sent home to clarify the student’s classes.

If parents would like to override a course, a form will be provided. The deadline for parent overrides is March 10, 2017.
