Men’s Clothing Drive: Help Someone Start Over!
From November 29th to December 9th, Capstone Senior Cierra Williams is hosting a clothing drive. Men’s dress clothes, (i.e. ties, button-up shirts, polos, slacks) are requested.
The proceeds will be donated to the Nashville Dismas house, an organization dedicated to aiding the reentry of former offenders back into society. The focus of Williams Capstone research is the high recidivism rate in America, and how to lower it. Recidivism is the cycle of criminal behavior, leading to cyclical incarceration. The number one way to prevent this is through rehabilitation and reentry programs.
The Nashville Dismas House is a local
organization that needs items, such as professional clothing, so the residents have appropriate clothing for job interviews. With your donation, you can help someone start a new life in a positive way.
Visit dismas.org for more information on the organization.
