Blackman High School hosted its first fall festival Saturday, November 5th, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

DECA, a business and marketing entrepreneur program for high school students, was the main club associated with this event. Key Club and Student Council were also involved.

“The festival is a great way for us to give back to the community and help the Candle Wishes Foundation raise money to provide gifts for the kids,” stated Deca president Ryan Pierce.

The fall festival was held at the main entrance of the school. The festival included plenty of fun activities such as apple bobbing, face painting, corn hole, candy walk, and more!

The cost was five dollars for adults and children. The funding for this event would go to Candle Wishes, a non-profit organization that provides toys and celebrates birthdays for unprivileged children.

“I’m willing to do anything to help children in need. Even if it means standing out in the sun for four hours!” said Eloiza Ferraz.

Deca thanks everyone who came out to show their support!
