Who Will Be Miss BHS 2016?

This Saturday night at 6 p.m, 22 girls will vie for the title of Miss BHS.

The annual pageant raises money to support the business department. Freshman to senior girls will perform a choreographed dance, walk the stage in three different outfits, and introduce themselves to the audience. The lucky winner will receive a glitzy crown and sash.

“I decided to do the pageant because it’s my senior year, and I want to have as much fun as possible this year. I feel like this is a fun opportunity,” stated Rayven Hill, senior.

Pageant rehearsals are all this week, where the girls and their escorts will practice their dance, choreographed by Becca Webb, Blackman alumnus.

The pageant occurs with the help of local businesses, such as Street Tuxedo and B&B Trophy.

A ticket to attend is $8, and concessions will be available for $1. The competition will be held in the school auditorium.
