Event Planning Creates the Ultimate “Holes” Experience for the CDC Class

On Tuesday, January 22nd, the Event Planning class organized a "Holes Event" for the CDC class. The party was themed to the novel "Holes," by Louis Sachar.

"It was a super fun day; a lot of people and groups worked very hard to make us happy- just to be nice!" -Emily Stock

"The students in the class have been working on the event since last fall. They met with Mr. Seadorf (librarian) about the book he was reading and went from there." - Kristi Covington

"We're very thankful to have a school that fosters a community of inclusion and acceptance! We felt very special and totally loved," shares Emily Stock, teacher of CDC.

"It was amazing seeing so many different types of people coming together, working hard and having a good time." -Emily Stock

"This was an event near to my heart because I have a special needs nephew," said Kristi Covington, advisor of the Event Planning class.
