Junior Kate Smith says “I loved the “Nightmare before Christmas” when I watched it because it was so creative. I love watching movies that involve a theme of art or creating and this was it. The smooth stop-motion is so satisfying, and I really liked how the animators were so good at showing facial expressions in the characters, even if they didn’t have faces. It is the perfect late-night cozy-watch for a Halloween movie; especially since I am really afraid of horror and gore. It is such a good watch and really gets me in the mood for Halloween (and maybe a little Christmas). My favorite part in the movie is probably the Halloween parade at the beginning, because it really does a fantastic job at introducing all the characters and setting a spooky-cozy mood.”
