- Old Fort Park
Overview: This park was built in 1977 and still stands as a spectacular place to visit today. This family-friendly park has a playground, numerous nature trails, vast plains for picnics, exciting skate parks, golf courses, baseball/softball fields as well as tennis courts! This place also invites dogs to come out and enjoy the great time you and your family have planned.

- Center for the Arts
Overview: Amazing theatrical productions and performances, this place offers the act of a lifetime by allowing all ages to act, sing and dance. The shows, no matter the genre, are unforgettable and entertaining. Some famous plays include, “A Raisin in the Sun,” “The Odd Couple,” “West Side Story” and “Cinderella.”
Cost: $25 per person, though a few great bundles and packages.
- 8. Music Festivals
Overview: Nashville’s music festivals have run for decades and continue uniting our community with beautiful pieces. Some famous festivals include CMA Fest, 615 Indie Live, and Americanafest. This amazing festival offers hundreds of new or professional artists to come and perform.
Ticket prices: Depends on the location, time and demand. Can range from $160-5000.
- Murfreesboro Escape Rooms
Overview: These aren’t just rooms; they are intriguing and immersive stories set on different themes. This puzzling, timed experience is the perfect way to spend time with your family or friends! These challenges shape future enthusiasts and sharpen cognitive abilities.
Cost: $25-30 per person, though larger groups can have a better per person rate.
- Main Event
Overview: This fun arcade makes the day memorable. Arcades, bowling aisles and laser tag arenas are only a few of the entertaining activities. The food court serves delicious and plentiful food and drinks! A weekend to enjoy and have fun.
Average Cost: $15-30 per person per hour up to $30-45 per lane.
- 5. BlueBird Cafe
Overview: World famous for famous songwriters starting their careers in their listening rooms. This cafe has run for more than 40 years, and each night is not a disappointment! Absolutely passionate pieces of all genres (mostly country) and even returning chart-topping artist play for the audience. They sell exclusive clothes, food, jewelry and accessories for impressively cheap prices! Note that everyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian seated with them.
Costs: $12-20 per person.
- Grand Ole Opry
Overview: Historic, beloved and enjoyable, the Grand Ole Opry has continued to raise stars and provide an amazing experience for the audience. It blends music and culture alike with storytelling and comedies. Live performances offer remarkable awe and feelings of joy.
Average Cost: Depends on seating, $53-65 on average. 100+ dollars for premium seats.
- Opry Mills
Overview: The largest and most renowned shopping center in Middle Tennessee, Opry Mills, has provided hundreds of shopping outlets, from luxurious designer stores to simple delicious restaurants. It is a bustling area near many attractions and historic buildings.
Shops: Aerie, American Eagle, Bath & Body Works, Calvin Klein, Chili’s and Cinnabon.
- The Avenue
Overview: Like Opry Mills, The Avenue is a shopping and dining area that feels closer to home. A great way to spend your Friday night, shopping, eating and loads of social activities. It serves as one of the best and most famous shopping places in Tennesse, somewhere you can bring the whole group!
Shops: Altar’d State, Belk, Old Navy, Hollister, H&M, Hallmark and Sephora.

- Dollywood
Overview: A family-friendly theme park that excites and celebrates themes of music and culture! This park offers wild roller coasters, award-winning food, relaxing resorts and thrilling attractions. It investigates Appalachian culture and Dolly Parton’s legacy through crafts and other traditional activities!
Cost: For one day, it is $82 per person, but for multiple days (including parking fees, excluding dining and activities) it is around $122-430 per person. Very expensive, but worth the cost for fall break!
