On Saturday March 5th, the Blackman Lady Blaze hosted the McMinn County Lady Cherokees in the state sectionals. The Lady Blaze took down the Lady Cherokees 62-43 to advance to the state tournament. Here are some photos from the game. Blackman’s quarterfinal game in the state tournament is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 9th at MTSU at 2:45 pm vs Bearden. If they are victorious they will then play in the semifinals at MTSU on Friday, March 11th at 1:15pm at MTSU. The Class 4A girls state championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 12th at 4 pm at MTSU.
