Blackman’s college fair is on the 4th of February during all three lunches in the Rotunda.

Anthony Gomez, a senior, said, “It’s important to go to the college fair because you need to see every school to find out which ones have the programs you need, like I need to find schools with really  good wrestling teams.”

Admission representatives from MTSU, South College, Maryville College, University of Memphis, University of Louisville, University of Montevallo, Tennessee Tech, Mississippi State University, Lee University, Trevecca, Bethel University, UTC, North Alabama, University of Alabama, Carson Newman, UTM, University of Alabama Birmingham, Freed-Hardeman University, Lincoln Memorial University, Grand Canyon University, University of Alabama Huntsville, Lipscomb University, Bellarmine University, Motlow College, East Tennessee State University, UTK, and  Sewanee.

Although mostly juniors attend, it is important for underclassman to go as well.

Donna Diehl, a BCA senior, said it was important for underclassman to go to the college fair because “you get to look at all your options and some people will give you free academic scholarships.”

The college fair is crucial to discovering the right local college for you.

“It’s where you can get a lot of information and get questions answered about college,” said Sydney Griffith, a senior.

The BHS college fair is an important event to take advantage of as an underclassman or upperclassman in order to find the right college.
