The state cross country event was held in Nashville at the Steeplechase on November 5.

Runners Camren Warner, senior, and Casey Clementz, junior, finished in the top 100.

Warner finished 37th (17:02), and Clementz finished 74th (17:29). Each runner crossed the finish line with a time that would put them in the top ten for Blackman.

“This course is very tough, and some of the best runners did not finish due to dehydration and passing out,” stated Jonathan Sutton, cross country coach.

These two runners showed hard work and determination through their accomplishments and represented the Blackman family well.
