The 2016 Blaze Bash commences this Friday, September 23rd. The annual celebration is in honor of our football homecoming. The night will host our football game against Cookeville High School at 7:00 pm. The day time will be filled with fun activities and no classes.

The morning begins with the Homecoming Parade, which starts at 9:00 a.m. The parade will feature many of Blackman’s clubs, sports teams, Miss BHS 2016 and her runner ups’, and the Homecoming attendants and court.

Next, students will have a choice to attend the Powder Puff football game, located at the football stadium, or the kickball game, located at the baseball stadium.

Lunch will be filled with a variety of options. It is recommended to bring at least $10. Popular restaurants include Chick-fil-a, Smoothie King, Arby’s, Zaxby’s, Taste of China, and Little Caesar’s.

Other items will be sold at different tents; a few examples are Arizona Tea, doughnuts, quesadillas, Italian ice, and cotton candy. These food vendors will be located outside behind the main gym.

In addition to food booths, some clubs are offering opportunities to play a game. Featured games include a kissing booth, car smash, and chess. A car show will also be occur in the parking lot.

The rest of the day will consist of a pep rally and class competitions.
