Here are a few quick hits from this weekend’s NFL playoff action.

-The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Green Bay Packers 26-20 in OT after a late Hail-Mary by Aaron Rodgers forced extra time.

-The New England Patriots downed the Kansas Chiefs 27-20 behind Rob Gronkowski’s two touchdowns in his return to action.

-The Denver Broncos defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-13 in a game where Denver’s defense shined.

-The Carolina Panthers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 31-24 with the help of Johnathan Stewarts’ two rushing touchdowns.

-It is the first time since 2004 that the higher ranked seeds in each game advanced to the Conference Championship game.

Looking forward: In the AFC Championship game, we will have the highly decorated Brady-Manning battle as the Denver Broncos take on the New England Patriots. In the NFC Championship game we have the battle of former Heisman winners when Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers take the field against Carson Palmer’s Arizona Cardinals.
