This month’s Blackman Voice athlete of the month is Caden Perkins, who is running back on the football team. Caden says he has been playing for 12 years and plans to play after high school. His favorite thing about his team are his teammates and spending time with them. He says that he and his teammates play around a little too much, although it is all good fun. A fun fact he would like to share is that his favorite food is tacos. His advice for other athletes is “As long as you work hard, you’ll accomplish anything you want to.”
