A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships by The 1975: This band released their third and most controversial album. The speak on subjects like police violence, sexuality, and the meaning of love. Released on November 30th, 2018, this album includes singles: Love It If We Made It, Be My Mistake, Sincerity Is Scary, and It’s Not Living (If it’s Not with You). Before the release of the album, band front man Matty Healy appeared on the popular YouTube channel Genius to describe the meaning of his lyrics. 

11 by Trey Songz: The R&B artist released his 11th album, hence the title. This is the second body of work that he has released this year.  The album featured several singles; Drugz, Lay Yo Head, and Solid. Having been in the R&B game for a year, he has remained consistent, putting out at least one body of work every year since his debut. 

The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story by Jaden Smith: This is the artist’s 3rd album release in the past three years. He features a remake of the song Fallen from his album in 2017 titles FALLEN 2. This album has nothing to do with the story line of his previous album SYRE. 

Still My Moment by Tee Grizzley: The fourth studio album from the Michigan native. After his song First Day Out in 2017, he almost immediately released his first album My Moment. Since his debut he has released three other albums featuring big names in rap and hip hop like Lil Pump and Chris Brown. 

Saturn by Nao: The 31-year-old British singer and songwriter has released her first album since 2016. After her single Bad Blood rose to fame, she was featured on the popular YouTube channel Genius to talk about her lyrics and what drives her to write her music. 

Love Me Now by Tory Lanez: This album arrived only a few short months after Lanez’ second album Memories Don’t die. On this album, Lanez went for a lot of different styles including: R&B, Latin Pop, and Reggae. He featured multiple types of artists including: Stefflon Don, NAV, and Bryson Tiller 

Suncity– Khalid: The rising teen artist decided to dedicate his second album to his hometown of El Paso, Texas. The album contains only seven songs, but all songs are well-written and feature a central message of home and comfort. 

Ella Mai by Ella Mai: After her claim to fame with singles Boo’d Up and Trip, the young songwriter released her first self-titled album. After her stellar performance at the BET Awards in 2018, she has gained millions of followers, leading her album to the peak of the Apple Music charts. 

Interlude– Glenn Travis: Travis gained notoriety when his song Feel My Love was heavily promoted and featured on The Ace Family YouTube channel in 2017. He followed up this sudden success with his first album Prelude. This album includes the singles Floating, Drug Me, If I Can’t Be with You, Stuck, and Lock Me Away. 

Championships by Meek Mill: after his world-shattering arrest for a violation of parole left him incarcerated for 2 years, the rap alumni came back better than ever. He featured former enemy Drake on his album causing controversy in the rap industry but nonetheless this body of work gives insight in the mind of Meek Mill. 

Street Gossip by Lil Baby: The feature filled seventh album from the Atlanta based rapper. He gained lots of publicity on his last album from the song Yes Indeed featuring Drake. He followed his 6th body of work with a new school trap/ rap vibe on his new album. 

Some Rap Songs by Earl Sweatshirt: After his feature on Frank Ocean’s Super Rich Kids in 2012, Sweatshirt kept somewhat of a low profile in the music world. In recent months, his popularity has risen again, birthing his most streamed album yet. With only 10 songs and 3 features, Earl delivers beautiful beats and well-crafted lyrics. 

The Pains of Growing by Alessia Cara: After her hit single “Here” climbed all charts, the then 17-year-old put out her first studio album. She then took a three-year hiatus, featuring on only two songs for the entire duration of her hiatus. She came back in 2018 with a new sound and new experiences and poured them into her long overdue sophomore album. 

STOKELEY by Ski Mask the Slump God: One of the most anticipated albums of 2018, this album comes after the EP, Archives, full of songs he made but never released. This is Ski Mask’s third album release of 2018. After the devastating loss of this close friend XXXTENTACION, he came back better than ever, giving his fans 32 minutes of cunning raps.
