Fall is one of the most magical times of the year. It starts to get cold outside, leaves start to change, and it is also the opener for the most wonderful time of the year: hallowthanksmas (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

Some people have a hard time finding out fun things to do during this time of year. Here are some family fun things to do during the fall season.

  1. Jumping into a huge pile of leaves with all of your friends. This is a great pastime that a lot of us young people used to do for fun while we were kids. It gives us a look back at how life was so simple back when we were all kids.
  2. Going shopping with your mom or dad. Us kids never spend enough time with our parents.  You could also just hang out with your parents and watch a good movie while being curled up with your pets.
  3. Binge watch an old or new Netflix show. Ah, the magic of Netflix. This platform can give someone a new love for an old show. It helps you expand your knowledge of the old television age.
  4. Go on a hike through the woods with your family. This is a great way to spend time with your family. You can even bring your dog on this adventure with you. Hiking is a great way to see nature, and in the fall time, the nasty mosquitos are nowhere in sight. There are many great places to hike within the Middle Tennessee area; Fall Creak Falls, Natchez Trace, and Harpeth River State Park. These are all great places to hike with your family and they are all close by!
  5. Hang out with your friends. Go on an adventure with your friends; they like spending time with you outside of the virtual world. The internet cannot give you all those warm feelings that fall can!

All of these things have a common theme: spending time with the people you love. Whether you go out and go shopping with your friends or you stay inside all day watching your favorite TV show, you should be spending time with the people you love doing things you love. After all, this is the season for all your warm and fuzzy feelings!
