Majid Jordan: This Toronto duo has been making music since 2011, and signed to the coveted OVO Sound label under Drake. You may remember them as the backing vocals in Drake’s smash hit Just Hold On, We’re Going Home. They released their second studio album, The Space Between, in October of 2017. 

Marc E. Bassy: San Francisco vocalist, real name Marc Griffin, has been making tunes since 2007. His newest hit Plot Twist feat. Kyle and New Ting have lead him to amazing sales on his studio album Gossip Columns. 

Roy Woods: Brampton, Ontario native Denzel Spencer, otherwise known as Roy Woods, has recently started making music in the past two years. Signed to OVO Sound founded by Drake, he released his first studio album, Say Less, in the beginning of December. 

Mahalia: English songwriter, based in Birmingham, has recently risen to fame after a video of her performing her hit Sober surfaced on Twitter. Signing her first major record deal at 13, she has released many projects and acted in the film Brotherhood. 

Mabel: The Swedish singer has recently made a name for herself in the music industry. She kick-started her own career in 2015 with her first single Know Me Better. She will be joining One Direction star, Harry Styles, on his world tour in 2018. This year she has also opened up for Bryson Tiller at one of his shows for the Set It Off tour. 

Dvsn- Another Toronto duo, Daniel Daley and Nineteen85, they are also signed to OVO Sound. Pronounced “division”, they have been making music since 2015 and gained notoriety when their second song, With Me, was played on OVO Sound Radio. They debuted their second full length project in October of 2017. 

Olivia O’Brien: California born and raised, Olivia O’Brien broke out in 2016 with the hit song I Hate U I Love U. Since then she has continued to put out quality content. She recently released her fist EP It’s Not That Deep in November of 2017. 

Brock Hampton: A California based collective boyband has taken the world by storm. The 16 members came together in San Marcos, Texas. They released 3 albums in 2017: Saturation, Saturation II, and Saturation lll. They are currently headlining their own US tour. 

Rex Orange County- Alex O’Connor, better known as Rex Orange County, is a singer song-writer from England who has recently made a name for himself in the Alternative music industry. He released his first album, Apricot Princess, in 2017. 

Mod Sun: The self-proclaimed “Hippy” rapper pushes the limits of classic hip-hop. He opened up for fellow hip-hop artist Blackbear during his Digital Druglord tour during majority of 2017. He recently released a new album titled BB where he did all of the production and song-writing. 

Ansel Elgort- Most known for his stand out performance in The Fault in Our Stars and Baby Driver, the actor/DJ has made his big break into the music industry. He has released a handful of singles over the past few months, with his most popular, Thief, raking up over 10 million views on Youtube. He was featured on rapper Logic’s album Everybody in 2017, and released a new single, Supernova, in 2018.
