Jack and Jack Concert Review
On November 16th, 2017 the popular rap/singer duo Jack and Jack performed at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville TN.
The pair, who original got their start on Vine, have had a very successful transition from social media videos to music
The duo was not lacking in ticket sales considering they had a full house of Tennesse citizens of all ages.
Their opening act, PRETTYMUCH, also had their fair share of fans screaming their names.
The R&B/Pop boy band, PRETTYMUCH, started out by performing their hit singles Teacher, Would You Mind, and Open Arms.
They also did a cover of If I Ever Love Again by Shai. They performed two new songs titled, Hello and No More featuring French Montana.
After a brief 15-minute intermission, the duo finally made their grand entrance.
They started by performing the song Last Thing off of their most recent EP, Gone.
They continued with a mashup of some of their older music for their original fanbase, including Groove and a few songs from their first EP Calibraska.
They also performed two new songs, Daydreaming and Natural. They finished off with crowd favorite, Tides and a mashup of Alessia Cara and the Beatles.
For their encore they performed their most popular song Like That.
“The concert was one of the best! It pulled me closer to them and it was amazing!” commented BHS sophomore Kamryn Huyck.
Jack and Jack have bridged the gap between Rap and Pop. Let’s hope they don’t stop any time soon.
