A Sweet Trip to the Store
A little change never hurt anyone and that could not be truer for The Cookie Store.
Although The Cookie Store has moved their main attraction still maintains its delicious taste. Recently, the well-known shop has migrated from their original place in The Avenue to a little spot in between Ulta Beauty and Mimi’s Boutique.
“Our lease was up so we just moved down here,” stated employee Sara Davis.
The move was a part of a series of renovations that are underway in The Avenue. Other store under construction are Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works.
So far, relocation has proved beneficial with promising activity from consumers.
“Well, it’s been pretty steady so far, but I think we’re getting more business because there’s more traffic and we’re more exposed,” stated Davis.
Variety is no stranger to the sweets-filled store, with items consisting of brownies, pretzels, sorbet, and gelato. The youthful crowd encourages a lot of their diverse selection, with many items made with a younger demographic in mind.
“We try to appeal to our age group by selling stuff like milkshakes, frappuccinos, smoothies, and just selling a variety of different kinds of cookies,” said Davis.
It’s hard to resist a yummy treat, so a few J-Campers tasted a few of the mini-cookies. Snickerdoodle, M&M, chocolate chip, oatmeal, and sprinkles were among the selection.
“I liked Snicker-Doodle because it just had that nice flavor. It was sweet, it was soft,” stated J-Camper Cole Austin.
A nice spot for the sweetest treats, The Cookie Store has only changed in location.
