An Affordable Shopping Spree
The Avenue has the latest trends for your fall shopping. Stores like Maurices, Forever 21, and Altar’d State are some of the popular stores to go to this summer for your shopping experience.
*Maurices offers fashions like lace-up tops and ripped jeans. It is located in between Crazy 8 and Justice. The manager is Ari Baird, and her assistant Alyssa Wright us a Blackman 2016 graduate.
“[Wright] loves helping out her customers find affordable outfits that also give a trendy look,” stated Baird.
*Forever 21 is located on the corner by Lane Bryant in front of Bed Bath and Beyond. The new manager is Megan Staggs. Forever 21 is a popular store at The Avenue because of their affordable prices and fashionable clothing.
“I love working here because the styles are constantly changing, which brings people to our store,” said Staggs.
*Altar’d State is a Christian environment with cute, yet affordable clothing. This store uses their Christian environment to pull in their customers, using things like prayer requests and church appropriate clothing. The manager Taylor Johnson told me they were sponsoring a child in Peru.
“I love working here, because our clothes are clothes for any occasion. If you need clothes for a party, we have them, or if you need clothes for a church event, we have that too. There’s always an outfit here for you,” stated Johnson.
Fall is fast approaching, and what better way to keep up with the changing seasons than by heading down to some cute stores that’ll spice up your wardrobe?
