3) Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art

The Cheekwood Mansion was built in 1929 but was converted into a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum in1960. A beautiful and relaxing stroll through the gardens will make you feel like you are far away from the stress of school. Spring Break is the best time to go because the tulips are in bloom! 4) Cumberland Caverns

With more than 32 miles of caves and passages, underground waterfalls, and rock formations, Cumberland Caverns is great for a group of friends to explore. Whether you are a beginning hiker or a more experienced spelunker, you will find adventure underground.

5) Mule Day

 

This annual festival has been going on in Maury County since the 1840’s. What began as a livestock sale now has a parade, lumberjack competitions, the MuleKick 5k, beauty pageant, arts and crafts festival, and mule races. Don’t forget to compete in the Liars’ Contest on Friday night!
