Blackman High School ended the regular season with a record of 7-3 and played their second round of playoffs this past Friday.
In the first round of playoffs, Blackman went against Jefferson county and won 41-12. Next, they faced Bradley Central and despite spectators’ doubts, Blackman beat them 38-35.
This Friday, Blackman will go head-to-head with an undefeated team from east Tennessee, the Maryville Rebels.
“The Blaze boys are determined to beat Maryville and aren’t afraid of a little competition,” Michael Smith, junior.
