Now that fall time has arrived, there are many TV shows that are beginning to premiere and have become very popular in the media. Some of the new premieres are This is Us, Pitch, and Emerald City.

This is Us is a dramedy that premiered in September, but is returning to television November 15. It is about a group of strangers whose lives begin to intertwine and they all realize that they share many qualities. This show challenges you to question your everyday presumptions about people and teaches you that you don’t always know a person like you think you do. This is Us returns next Tuesday and is on NBC.

Another show that premiered recently is Pitch. Pitch is about a young female becoming the first ever female pitcher for the Major Leagues. The show follows her journey on the San Diego Padres as she proves herself to the team and even has chemistry with one of her teammates.  The show comes on every Thursday night on FOX.

Emerald City is another show that has been talked about by many fans. 20-year-old Dorothy Gale and a K-9 dog are swept up in a tornado and carried to Oz. The show follows the two meeting familiar characters through the land of Oz as Gale carries the fate of the kingdom in her hand. Emerald City is a modern twist on a classic tale that everyone knows and loves. The series premiere is January 6th at 9/8c on NBC.
