Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jennifer Watkins is a twenty-three year old math teacher at Blackman.

She is currently in graduate school at Bethel University, where she also received her undergraduate degree in mathematics.

She said she decided to pursue a career as a teacher because “My ninth grade teacher inspired me; she showed me that math could be fun!”

Her favorite thing about Blackman is the school spirit and uplifting environment.

Outside of the classroom, Watkins is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys activities such as running and swimming.
